Announcing...
Or as Big Sister Angelina would say "Ta da!"
Lenaïc Martin Allegrini born Dec 9, 09. 10:10PM (at 38 weeks exactly). 8lbs. 20" long. Healthy, happy, already nursing like a champ!
And Angelina playing in the birth tub while mommy was walking around trying to get my water to break
Chris -it's a Breton name. I don't remember all the details, but apparently it's "rare but rising" there...Frederic loved it. I learned to like it :)
A did understand quite well. She had watched some birthing DVDs and she was there for all the action, so she understood the baby was coming out. She was in the tub with me during labor, rubbing my back, pouring water on it, offering encouragement.
Congratulations to the whole family. Beautiful name choice, beautiful boy! I love babies with a full head of hair!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you all, he is gorgeous. Angelina looks so happy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful early Xmas present.
Lots of love,
Jacintha, Breandan & Grace

ReplyDeleteHe's beautiful! Those photos of A in the birthing pool are so cute. Did she understand it all? Love the name btw! What's the origin?
